How it works
From order to WAVs in four steps
The soundtrack to your season starts with one order. Built around a producer’s timeline — not the other way around.
Step 1
Create your order
Create an account on our custom order site and fill out the order form — team info, requested artist, track type, number of 8-counts, and your vocal description. Ordering in bulk? Upload a CSV.
Step 2
Approve the writing
Your artist sends the writing for your approval — or if you provided the writing, they send a reference for your approval before anything is recorded.
Step 3
We record & engineer
Once approved, we record and engineer your vocals. Want to hear it first? Choose to approve a demo track before engineering.
Step 4
Drop the WAVs
Clean 48,000Hz 24-bit WAV files, labeled and ready to slide right in your session

The studios keep coming back
I sent my 8-counts on a Thursday night and had mastered WAVs sitting in my session by the weekend. The per-8-count pricing makes quoting my own clients easy.
Marcus D. — Mix Producer, TX
The vocals sit in the mix without me fighting them. Timed to my BPM, labeled by 8-count — it’s like they’ve been in my DAW before.
Alyssa K. — Cheer Music Studio Owner, FL
My gyms ask for NLM voices by name now. The custom theme hooks are what set our routines apart this season.

FAQ
Before you book
How does per-8-count pricing work?
Cheer mixes are built on 8-counts, so that’s how we price. Count the 8-counts you need vocals on: raps are $20 per 8-count, singing is $35 per 8-count, and if you want NLM to write the lyrics, writing is $10 per 8-count. A sung hook across four 8-counts with NLM writing would be 4 × ($35 + $10) = $180.
What’s “exact phrasing”?
Check the exact phrasing box on the order form and the artist records your lyrics word-for-word, exactly as written. Leave it unchecked and the artist can adjust delivery and phrasing to make the line hit harder — your call.
What file format do I get?
Every vocal is compressed, EQed, and mastered, then delivered as a 48,000Hz 24-bit WAV — ready to drop straight into your session.
When will my vocals be recorded?
Vocals are added to the next scheduled recording session once payment is received. If you’re up against a competition deadline, reach out at vocals@newlevelmusic.com before ordering and we’ll confirm the session schedule with you.
Can you match my BPM and key?
Always. Include BPM, key, and a reference bounce of the section with your order, and the vocal will land on your grid. Standard cheer tempos are our home turf.
Do you write the lyrics or do I?
Either. Send your own lyrics on the order form, or add NLM Writing to your order and our writers build custom lyrics around your team name, mascot, and theme — approved by you before we record.
